The Nail Shack — Business Policies

1. Appointment & Booking Policy

All appointments require a non-refundable deposit of $25 to secure your time slot. Deposits are applied toward your final balance on the day of service. Appointments are confirmed only after the deposit is received. Without a deposit, the time slot remains open.

2. Cancellation Policy

24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in the loss of the deposit. No-call / no-show appointments will result in forfeiting the deposit and may require prepayment for future bookings. Frequent cancellations or no-shows may lead to restricted booking privileges.

3. Rescheduling Policy

If you reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice, your deposit will transfer to the new appointment date one time only. After one reschedule, a new deposit is required to book again.

4. Refund Policy

All deposits and services are non-refundable. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please communicate this during the appointment so that corrections can be made immediately. Once the service is complete and you have left, refunds will not be issued.

5. Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive or be ready at your location on time for mobile services. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may be shortened or canceled, and your deposit forfeited. Consistent lateness may require prepayment for future appointments.

6. Travel & Location Policy (for Mobile Services)

Traveling nail services are available within Hernando County and select surrounding areas. A travel fee may apply depending on distance. Please ensure there is adequate space, lighting, and access to water and electricity if needed.

7. Health & Safety Policy

For the safety of all clients, please reschedule if you are experiencing any contagious illness, open wounds, or infections on hands or feet. The Nail Shack reserves the right to refuse service for any health or hygiene concerns.

8. Professional Boundaries

Respectful and professional behavior is expected at all times. The Nail Shack reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who displays inappropriate, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior. Communication about appointments should be made during business hours unless otherwise arranged.

9. Accepted Forms of Payment

Final payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Venmo, and Stripe. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed appointments will be honored at the booked rate.
